On November 26, the Xinxing Industrial Park project reached another significant milestone. With the installation of the final support pile, the construction of the 924 prestressed hollow support piles for the foundation pit support of the Xinxing Industrial Park has been successfully completed.

The foundation pit for the emerging industrial park project has a depth of 7.2 meters, an area of approximately 21,654 m², and a perimeter of about 638 meters. The foundation pit is supported by cantilevered PCS750 (420) hollow retaining piles, combined with localized slope adjustments at the pile tops (with a large slope adopted in the open eastern area). The successful completion of the retaining piles has laid a solid foundation for the next stage—the excavation of the second layer of earthwork.

The PCS750(420) hollow support piles used for shoring are a new type of construction pile. They feature a reinforced steel skeleton composed of prestressed concrete steel bars and non-prestressed reinforcing bars as longitudinal main reinforcement. Inside an integral steel mold, these bars undergo prestressing tensioning. Along the pile’s surface, regularly spaced continuous helical grooves are formed by steel bars. High-grade concrete is then poured into the mold, and the component is compacted through centrifugal force before being subjected to steam curing—resulting in a prestressed reinforced concrete element. The tenon is designed with a semicircular shape, and the depth of the mortise groove is 10 to 20 millimeters less than the height of the tenon, ensuring a precise fit that allows for tight interlocking during assembly. This design effectively prevents external water infiltration and sand migration.

Since the launch of the “Decisive Battle in the Fourth Quarter—Securing Our Goals” campaign, faced with various challenges such as tight construction schedules, complex construction techniques, and soft site conditions, all project staff have taken a proactive and independent approach. Before even starting construction, they leveraged BIM technology to optimize the site layout, rationally divide the area into zones, and meticulously plan and sequence the construction activities. They worked backward from the scheduled completion date to develop monthly, weekly, and daily construction plans, holding daily production meetings on time, setting specific deadlines, defining key milestones, and establishing clear reward and penalty mechanisms. Daily progress reports were shared openly, and thorough analyses were conducted to identify reasons for any unfinished tasks, ensuring that on-site issues were promptly addressed. A leading group was established, and project management personnel adopted a responsibility-based system, assigning specific managers to oversee particular construction areas. Managers’ bonuses were directly linked to on-site progress; if construction teams failed to meet their milestone targets, they would be held accountable according to the contract terms. Throughout the construction process, dedicated personnel were assigned to closely monitor the work, rigorously controlling construction quality—including verticality, pile positioning, and interlocking accuracy—thereby effectively guaranteeing the quality of the pile foundations and ensuring outstanding construction results.

The completion of the support pile node represents yet another milestone successfully achieved since the launch of the labor competition aimed at "Fighting Hard in the Fourth Quarter and Securing Our Annual Goals." All employees are greatly encouraged, laying a solid foundation for fully achieving this year's production targets.

All members of the project team expressed that, no matter how much pressure they face or how many difficulties they encounter, they will do their utmost, unite as one, and continue to uphold the spirit of striving for excellence and working hard under challenging conditions, ensuring the full achievement of this year’s task objectives.
